Who is responsible
Oriol Marches Merino, Spanish tax ID (NIF) 38867688B, Carrer del Migdia, 46-48, 17003 Girona. For anything about your data: hola@aranvideo.com.
This website
It uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking tools. Fonts and images are served from this website itself. The only thing we keep in your browser is the language you choose, so the site opens in that language next time.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process your IP address for security and to prevent abuse.
When you buy ARAN
Payment is handled by Link, from Stripe, acting as the reseller (merchant of record): it charges you, issues the receipt and pays the taxes due in each country. Only Stripe handles your card details; we never see them. Its privacy policy is at link.com/privacy.
From Stripe we receive your email, your country, and the amount and date of your purchase. We use them to:
- create your licence key (it contains your email) and show it to you;
- send it to you again if you lose it, and reply when you write to us;
- meet our tax and accounting obligations.
The legal basis is the purchase contract and our legal obligations. We keep the data while your licence is valid and, after that, for as long as the law requires. We don't sell or share it with anyone, and we won't send you advertising.
Stripe and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
The app
Your videos never leave your computer: subtitles, translation, filters and export all happen on your machine. ARAN only goes online to download the speech model and the translator the first time you use them, to browse the music library and, if you choose, to translate with your own API key for another service. The licence key is checked offline.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or take a copy with you, by writing to hola@aranvideo.com. If you think we're not handling it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the authority where you live.
